Indepdent Force, R.F.C

Lt. Leitch trained as a pilot in Handley Paige bombers and was assigned to General Trenchard’s Independent Force, R.A.F. He arrived at the Front too late to fly a combat mission.

His uniform is British styled side-cap with R.F.C. buttons and R.F.C. tunic collar badges. There is a pair of CANADA epaulet flashes on the shoulders. Royal Flying Corps wings with green wreath.
