Lt. Balogh Karoly

Framed pilot license and identification booklet, wings and shoulder boards belonging to Lt. Karoly were obtained by the museum in the fall of 2006.

Lt. Karoly earned his wings and commission as a Lieutenant in the Hungarian Air Force in January, 1942. At the time, he was among only 261 commissioned officers in the entire Hungarian Air Force!
